Our Story
BACKGROUND
Peghini Marmi, a family history started in 1869 by the great-grandfather of the present owners: four generations of Peghinis dedicating to marble with passion and foresight.
Bianco Carrara is a passion, you cannot tame such a fascinating and alive stone without giving in with all your courage and strength .
No other family has done so much to develop and protect the marbles from the basin of Carrara: the White first of all, and also the statuaries, the veined types and the arabescatos; no other family dedicated so much energy and hopes to its target.
MISSION, VISION, VALUE
The policy of the Family has been always clear and straightforward: getting deep knowledge of the quarries, getting to control some of them, managing factories and workshops, with one only target, promoting the nicest white marble in the world.
Our achievement of quality comes from a long history in marble; it is the result of acquiring know-ledge of the materials over the years, high technology in manufacturing and artisans’ skill of our human resources.
THE COMPANY
The factory is equipped with 2 modern diamond gangsaw units dedicated to slab processing, plus one gangsaw operating for special jobs. The daily productivity ratio of 1 container of 2 cm thick slabs can be doubled by adding one more shift to the ordinary one.
Polishing takes advantage of the most advanced polishing lines in the market.
